If It's Not One Thing...

I'm (yet again) still not dead yet...

The good news is that I've gotten Ultra Fractal behaving nicely for me. The bad news is that Photoshop died in an utterly unfixable way and yes, I have indeed tried to fix it. What irritates me is that I know exactly why it died and I can't reverse it. I must suggest to those using Windows Vista and Photoshop CS: Don't do a System Restore unless you absolutely must. I did one while trying to fix a completely unrelated problem (entirely unsuccessfully, I might add) and that was The End. It's not a giant deal since my disc was secondhand to begin with but I certainly can't afford a brand-spankin'-new copy of CS4 right now.

Before any silly suggestions are made: Yes, I've already tried out The Gimp. No, I haven't used PSP. No, I haven't used Irfanview. I would not like them, Sam-I-Am...I am strictly an Adobe girl.

Long story short: renders are happening, posting here will not since I am stubborn and refuse to use any other program for resolution editing.
